There was so much that they both would lose along the way, so much they had to do, to go through that honestly he could see what Dorian meant. He refused to think of the upsetting 'what ifs' of their situation, but at the same time... he'd regret not taking these moments with Dorian when he could get them. He loved the man too much, found so much delight in his company.
